At West Boca Veterinary Center, we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation in Palm Beach County and around the world. We are currently open for normal business hours to serve your veterinary needs. Our hospital is fully-stocked with necessary medications and supplies.
In an effort to comply with current CDC recommendations, we have enacted several safety protocols at our hospital. Not only is our staff practicing social distancing, but we are routinely disinfecting all work surfaces, machines, phones, and computers. Masks and other PPE equipment are also available for use. We have also altered our appointment and medication pick up procedures as outlined below.
We are seeing all of our appointments in a curb-side manner. This may add some additional time to your visit, so please plan accordingly. When you arrive for your appointment, please call or text our office. A client service representative or veterinary nurse will come to you. No one except for hospital personnel is permitted inside the hospital. We will bring your pet to our treatment area where our doctor will perform the needed services. The doctor will call you to go over physical exam findings and discussed any recommended diagnostics and treatments. At the conclusion of your visit, a member of our staff will return your pet to your car. A client service representative will then call you for over-the-phone payment, or assist with checks or cash payment if needed. We ask that when you arrive at the hospital for care, you remain in your car. We are trying to avoid social gatherings among clients in front of the hospital.
If you are requiring food or medication, you may pull up to our drive-thru area on the west side of the building where a staff member will help you.
We kindly ask that if you are sick with or without signs related to COVID-19 that you stay home and let another member of the family bring your pet to the hospital.
