Dr. Gregg Kuehnel grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami before completing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida.

Dr. Kuehnel has professional interests in internal medicine and surgery, where he enjoys combining careful diagnostics with hands-on problem solving to provide thorough, thoughtful care for his patients.

Each year, he travels to Alaska to serve as a trail veterinarian for the Iditarod sled dog race, supporting the health and performance of canine athletes during the iconic endurance event. He values the teamwork, dedication, and resilience that working-dog medicine represents, and he brings that same commitment to his everyday practice.

Dr. Kim Simons was born in Freeport, Bahamas, and grew up in North Miami. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida.

Dr. Simons has a strong interest in critical care and internal medicine and provides thorough, attentive care to each of her patients. She values thoughtful diagnostics and individualized treatment plans to support the best possible outcomes.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Simons enjoys music, movies, and practicing yoga.

Dr. Marianne Dallessandro earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University and has spent many years dedicated to practicing high-quality veterinary medicine.

Her professional interests include dermatology, endocrinology, and soft tissue surgery. She enjoys the balance of medical problem-solving and hands-on surgical care, and is committed to helping her patients live healthier, more comfortable lives.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Dallessandro enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and their Border Collie, Piper.

Dr. Rebecca Alcalay grew up in Boca Raton, Florida. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Florida before continuing to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida.

Dr. Alcalay has professional interests in preventive medicine, soft tissue surgery, and ophthalmology. She is committed to providing thorough, compassionate care and helping pet owners feel informed and confident in their pets’ health plans.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Alcalay enjoys watching movies, horseback riding, attending Pure Barre classes, and spending time with family and friends.
