Advantages of Boarding at an Animal Hospital

Boarding dogs and cats at a veterinary clinic is better than leaving them unattended while they wait for a friend or neighbor to check on them.  Dogs and cats need more human contact than those visits provide. In fact, these occasional visits can cause feelings of neglect and anxiety. Another advantage is the medical care a veterinarian can provide in the event of a crisis. Perhaps your pet has a chronic medical condition that requires constant monitoring or daily medication – a veterinarian is the best choice for your pet in your absence.

My Pet is a Special Needs Pet

The veterinary staff at an animal hospital is trained and equipped to handle special needs dogs and cats. Whether your pet requires daily medication, a special diet, or some other special need boarding at an animal hospital ensures those needs are accommodated. We will treat your dog or cat as if they are a part of our family.

Will my pet get exercise?

The veterinary staff at an animal hospital not only provides medical care but also supervised exercise and play times. We recognize the importance of your dog’s and cat’s physical and psychological well-being. It is important to us that your pet has a good time while they are with us.

Will my dogs be boarded with cats?

We have separate boarding facilities for cats and dogs. While some dogs and cats get along well together, we understand that most cats prefer their own environment far away from the noises and sounds of dogs. We will provide your cat with a quiet environment and an enjoyable boarding experience.

Will my pet be exposed to diseases by being around other pets?

No matter where your pet is – at home, at the park, or in your neighborhood – there is a chance they will be exposed to diseases. We require that all pets receive the proper vaccinations, eliminating the risk of contracting a disease. We also provide a clean and sanitary boarding facility to further decrease any risks.
