Twice a year, you should take your pet in for a check-up.  This will include a full physical exam, any necessary vaccinations, as well as an in-depth discussion on the current health of your pet.  

Bring in any medical history you have for your pet when you come to our hospital.  It's best to keep a journal of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts, previously diagnosed medical conditions and any surgeries your pet may have had.  Any medical records you may have will be helpful.
